He buys books the way some people collect stamps — with great intention and very little follow-through. The shelves are full. The spines are pristine. Somewhere between the unread pages and the background music, he found her. She brought Taylor Swift into the house and never left. He countered with Twenty One Pilots and The Beatles, and somehow it all made sense on the same turntable.

Then, they started collecting places, too.
New cities, long flights, questionable navigation, and the quiet realization that anywhere is better when you have your favorite person beside you.

Back home, seven cats joined the story – although, if you asked the cats, they would probably say the story has always been about them.
And now, on the eighteenth of February, they’re doing something surprisingly official for two people who have spent years simply choosing each other, one ordinary day at a time.
